Q Stakeholder Communications Management Plan Overview This assignment requires you to consider your previous work in understanding and documenting the needs of project stakeholders to develop a stakeholder communications management plan. The plan should demonstrate an understanding of communication models, needs analysis, management process, and communication tools and techniques. It should consider stakeholder's engagement requirements and other information sharing enhancements that might be appropriate to the project. Preparation Review the CapraTek activities in this unit's second study as needed for information helpful in completing this assignment. Directions Review the CapraTek activities as necessary for information required to complete this assignment. Create a stakeholder communications management plan that effectively defines how communications will be conducted and controlled to serve stakeholders associated with the impending launch of the Alfred! 2.0 software upgrade. The plan should be suitable for presentation to management and meet the needs your boss with regard to the project stakeholders identified in your Unit 4 assignment. It should include and consider the work you completed in earlier assignments and contain the following elements: • Executive summary. (Include a brief description of the communications model that you intend to use and why it appropriate for the plan.) • Stakeholder registry. (Updated from the Unit 2 assignment.) • Stakeholder communications requirements document. (Updated from the Unit 4 assignment.) • Communications flow chart. (Create using Microsoft Visio or another appropriate graphics tool.) The chart should depict how the communication flows among the stakeholders. • A description of the escalation process for resolving any communication-based conflicts or issues. • Communication control and monitoring process. Executive Summary In a project of such scale, it is important to get a clarity on the communication needs and how they will be resolved. The number of stakeholders is considerably high and so the number of communication channels is surely going to be a bit complicated.
